Most fresher CVs look the same: a degree, a few projects and a list of βskillsβ with nothing to back them up. A short, verifiable certificate in a skill the job actually asks for adds evidence to that list.
Start with the skills that appear in almost every entry-level job description: spreadsheets (formulas and pivot tables), business email, and presentation skills. They are useful in every field and easy to demonstrate.
Then add one or two skills that match the role you want. For marketing, SEO fundamentals and social media. For analytics, SQL. For tech roles, a programming language and Git. For HR, the recruitment process.
Finally, add one forward-looking skill. Prompt writing and responsible AI use now come up in interviews across functions.
Pick three to five, take the assessments, and add each certificate to LinkedIn with its certificate ID. Then talk about them in interviews with an example of where you used the skill.
